You keep all rights to the files you open and create. Your files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. You are responsible for the content of your files and for having the right to use them.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful or to infringe the rights of others
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the website or its infrastructure
  • Copy, resell or present the service as your own

Accuracy and backups

We work hard to make calculations and file conversion accurate, but results may sometimes differ from Microsoft Excel or other software, and some features of complex workbooks are not supported. Always check important figures, and keep a copy of your original file.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Excel Editor Online is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll change the date at the top of this page when we do. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
